Coolant reservoir

Hello. I have a 97 gp se. When the weather gets warm im gonna attempt to do my first coolant flush. I have two questions. First, how the heck do you remove the reservoir in this car? The tank is in the front next to the air box. It looks simple but i guess im not seeing it lol. And second, is it possible to get the smaller coolant tanks that they have on the 98 and later cars and put it near the strut tower? Thank you

I forget the exact steps to getting the old one out. IIRC it's a 10m bolt or a push clip. Overall you likely need to remove the airbox and then it will be a snap.

Yes you can get the newer style tank, I prefer it. When you pull the tank out of a junkyard etc, look down and get the white piece as well. It pushes into a hole in the body and has a pin in the center to keep it in place. That will give your new tank something to rest on.
