coolant leak--petcock?

have recently drained and flushed the coolant system for a small coolant leak somewhere. now have a big puddle of coolant after the car has gotten warmed up and turned off. no leak when running or after its cool. Thinking it may be the petcock. Leaking right above the metal V, where the petcock is located on the drivers side. cant find any info on how to change it. I know its not meant to come out. just want to know if its possible to do without screwing up the radiator. All hose checked out fine and my car temp is at normal operating level. anybody have any tips on changes petcock?

heres what makes finding the leak interesting. the puddle ends up on the passenger side of the garage floor. intitally thought it was something on that side. after tracing it, it looks like it is dripping from the somewhere above the metal v, from the v it is dripping onto the plastic piece that runs across the bottom of the front bumper (still learning. dont know what thats called). then it is running to the passanger side and dropping to the ground. I believe its because my garage floor is slightly uneven.

i would check the water pump, theres a small hole under the snout behind the pulley, look to see if there a rust trail or if its wet there, most of the time they leak after you turn the car off when they first start to go bad.

small mirror on a telescopic stick helps a lot too.

After taking off the lower cowl it was definately leaking from the petcock. Debated trying to just replace the petcock but decided on the radiator instead. Replaced the radiator and lower hose for good measure. No more leak!
