Converter Relief Valve: Who has replaced it? Where is it at?

The old fingers are typing "converter relief valve" in the search box, but I am not finding any info.
I know where I can buy one of these brand new.
I am quoting "GXPerforms" thread from April 2015 in this section: "The converter relief valve has the job of bleeding off pressure so you don't engage the TCC with too much harshness. The factory converter relief valve is flawed in design in the sense that it bleeds off at too high of pressure. This results in faster wear and fail of the TCC which can show up later on as other problems."
Is this something everyone (who wants to keep their w-body car and transmission running well) knows about and has sought to replace?
Correct me if I am wrong: a new one costs $5?
Where is this located on the 4T65E?

I don't think there is a torque converter relief valve. I have my engine and trans separated right now, and it really doesn't look like there is any such thing.
