Control Arms Issues

Alright so for some time, the right front has been banging when i make slower turns. Its hit and miss. I know for sure It does when i make a left coming into my driveway and hit a little bump. When i had it jacked up, i noticed that there was marks where the control arm bushing is hitting the frame, on the top. I dont have a picture of that, but i do have a picture of the car on the ground and the control arm is up against the frame, shown here:

What would cause this? the bushing looks fine. Except where the red arrow is pointing to.. the drivers side isnt like that.

Driver side bushing is close but not touching like the other side:

I have been recently getting a bang/pop/ on the drivers side, but it happens when i accelerate from a dead stop. I have replaced the right side ball joint, not the left. The left side seems to be okay but im not sure what would exactly cause what is happening. Both outer tie rods have been replaced. so here is also my ball joint on the driver side...

Im thinking i have two seperate issues here... everytime i do something or fix something.. something else breaks lol. But i love working on it

Any input that isnt sarcastic is welcomed,
Thanks :th_biggrin2:

Those control arm bushing are completely ****ed man LOL.

They are both pulled through all the way and are completely useless right now.

I'd replace the whole control arm to save you time.

ohh i know what you mean, yeah they use to look that way lol

But the thing is.. when i jack the car up, they DONT look like this? the outer part stays inside the arm

its time to replace them. like 40 a side. and rather easy to swap. buy them on line of course, parts store will nail ya.

Advanced wants $140 a side for the Moog ones. Rockauto has them for about $50 a side. Talk about a price gap..

Thanks again guys!
