Comfortable struts/spring setups?

So potholes... yeah I don't think I need to go further than that on that, but the point is my struts are squeaking and the ride is horrible. I'll probably end up replacing all 4 strut assemblies, so what I wanted to ask is that other than OEM parts, what's the best strut/spring combo for comfort? Even when my struts were fresh the ride would still be bumpier than the one I'd get when I'd hop into a Lacrosse. If handling's not in the question, what is the best setup for a comfortable ride?

I've considered the w body store rear heightening springs, but never have. still haven't ruled them out. I really liked my gr2 struts, but the agx is so much better. if you can afford to do the agx, you wont regret it. the gr2 is still a good strut.

Nah it's the daily, I'm gonna end up selling the Lacrosse to make it official and get a TA or an SS (or even a Miata, how cool would that be? :O) for next spring at the latest. The GP is in good shape but needs the very basic of maintenance, could use an oil change soon, tranny fluid flushed and like I said the struts replaced. I'd like the GR2s, been considering them for a while and I could use a comfy ride as seen in the semi-luxury Wbody because these Mich roads are brutal. After the struts probably couple of appearance mods, a nice spoiler (or delete?), projectors, lips etc and maybe do a 3.5 setup and slowly build the tranny on a set budget and move up to a 3.4 setup. You know, nothing crazy but an ample amount of power on a comfy ride, a proper GT car rather than an intense performance car (that is a job for something else).

A few months ago I got all four Monroe quick-struts from RockAuto and I think my car handles quite comfortably. I'm not the type who takes offramps at high speeds, so for me I also prefer the comfort.

Mind describing to me the level of comfort? What car would it be comparable with?

I bought Kyb quick struts from amazon a month or 2 ago and don't regret buying them. they were like 400 shipped for all 4 too.

KYB GR2s I assume? With stock springs? I want the ride to be nice and mushy, don't care for the handling on this car anymore, it was bad in the first place... I'd still like the drama tho, when you floor it mid-gear and it kicks down and the front lifts up as the tires scream for traction... idk if that drama will stay if i do WBS heightening springs... the heightening springs look sickkkkk tho

I put Monroe Sensa Tracs quick struts on my GP a few weeks back and have zero complaints. Car rides nice and smooth.
