So I know that a lot of people on this are college students (myself included) and I am just getting sick and tired of all the dumbass **** that stupid kids do. Some of you know that I am an RA at the college that I am at and gave me some **** for it but last night we had a second fire in two days go on in one of our dorm halls (500+ kids in it) because someone thought it might be cool to start a fire. Needless to say this is the **** that gets me pissed off because now it has created a panic of people crying and going home early for the weekend because they are afraid of something worse happening now. Its just dumbass acts like this that makes everyone's life a little harder. And now I am done venting.....

Sad part its not cold here right now, SHORTS WEATHER HELL YA!!! I just hope this person gets caught because it will be a felony so no life for them

True. So many women in this college town and especially when the ratio here is a minimum of 3 girls to 1 guy.

As a result of a threat on campus on Thursday, February 17, all buildings have been evacuated at the Durham College Oshawa campus. Durham Regional Police Service is on site and we are conducting a thorough inspection of the affected buildings. To ensure the safety and security of everyone on campus, all classes including all evening classes, have been cancelled. No other Durham College campuses or locations are affected. Students in residence may leave campus or stay in their residences until further notice.

Classes will resume as scheduled tomorrow morning, Friday, February 18.

College kids are pretty stupid sadly. A girl was shot and accidently killed here a couple of months ago because her twin sister's BF wanted to show off his gun when there was still a round in the chamber.

it was like that for me. just gave me reason to look elsewhere for girls (other campuses, bars, work, etc). its not that big of a deal especially considering i didnt stay on campus.
 
4000 inebriated freshman, every night... i stayed in that hell hole for 9 months. my RA partied with the people next door, i couldn't get to sleep before 4am every day. i'd step out of my door into vomit. half my hall liked to shower in the same stall, at the same time, with the curtain and the door to the bathroom open. they'd be shaving pubes with their room doors open. music so loud i couldn't hear myself think. people f*cking with your laundry. and i paid how much for this?
 


college is highschool, with an ash tray.

not everyone, but the majority of college students are only there because of either a) financial aid or b) mommy and daddy. they take sh*t for granted and act like it's their first rodeo when it comes to booze.

but.. you'd be surprised it's not just college students.
 
Go to a school where it costs 33K year... People are way too serious.... Id rather have party people to lighten the mood

This is the right place for the degree that I am going for. When all the costs are settles i go here for about 14k a year.
 
Thats about where I sit as well. Unfortunatly most of that is student loans that will have to be payed at a later date. (Hence why I appreciate it and try)

I feel bad for you. My parents are paying for three years and the rest will be student loans. But I do plan on paying them back and buying them some brand new cars.
 
I infact dont feel bad for myself. It does suck having loans. But i own my education. No body can hold it over my head. If i stumble its up to me to do better. Its kinda nice
