Ok I got my CIA, and went home to install during lunch. I popped my hood and was getting rdy to it, and WTF way different then throwing one on a civic lol.

Here is the Issue.
1 there is a box connected to my stock intake, Looks like a MAF or something, What is this and do I move it or what no place on my cia to put it.

2 according to instructions I need to Relocate a CPU is this true? inside the air filter box? does anybody have a pic of this part. it looks like the guy that had before me moved it behide the front grill, I just want to see a pic to make sure its the right part.

Or how about I pay a wichita person to come over and learn me on this car. lol why cant everything be easy like hondas

the airfilter is in that box. remove it. the pcm is also in there. remove that also. if you have a cai without a box you can ziptie the pcm in place under the factory box.

just start pulling stuff out/off. youll figure it out :th_thumbsup-wink:

the MAF is in the throttle body. the only thing you have to worry about doing is strapping your PCM down so it doesn't flop all over the place and moving the air intake sensor from the stock location on the box to the tubing that you bought. you can get a pcm tray, but you really dont need it if you dont feel like paying for one.

I guess you're talking about the airbox. That's what your stock air filter is in. It is not used with the new CAI.

If you're talking about the intake air temp sensor, then there should be a hole in your new intake for it. If not, make one.

Here is a pic of a PCM:

There's no way it was relocated behind the grille. No point, and it would be a wiring mess.

These are a lot easier to work on than import garbage. Welcome to a real car. ;)

youll find more and more as you take things apart that half the stuff you take off you dont need to put back on. there are plenty of small brackets and extra parts that i have just left off because it makes it look nicer or it makes it easier for me to work on later.

i have a franken-prix. :)

No the thing on my intake pipe looks like a Mass air flow sensor or something. I have a the hole for the air temp sensor. This is different, Also do I need to get a Coolant Recovery Bottle or relocation anything else to make fit
