Cold air intake question



I built my own yesterday and I'm no expert, first things first buy a cone filter, mine is 3", replace the the rippled rubber hose that comes out of TB as it is restrictive to air flow. replace it with a straight pipe at your local hardware store. you'll need to drill into it and install a grommet so you can reinstall the hose that goes into the engine.

I used an air intake off my saturn 92 Sl2 (30$ ebay) and cut the pipe so it would fit and attached it to the end of the stock pipe that has a sensor attached to it.

I saved over 300$ cuz i was thinking of buying a k & N intake.... and it sounds wicked!

I'd post a pic but theres still a few things i need to tweak on my setup.
