So as many of you know from reading my threads ive been dealing with several issues.Well i went to PEP BOYS today and finally got a somewhat bearing on my SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT.The service guy was able to pull up code P0336(this one was kinda expected as id had other people up here suggest my crank sensor was going bad.)The other 2 codes were P0401,P0441.Tech said both were EGR related P0401 READING WAS EGR FLOW INSUFFICIENT,and he said the other was saying i needed to get a further diagnostic but still EGR related. He said there was a 4th code pending but had to do the diagnostic to determine($90 for the diagnostic).I do need someone to explain some of this EGR thing to me and whats required to fix it. So then i had the guy write up an estimate, the short of it is for parts and labor on EGR valve and knock sensor(cam sensor) plus their diagnostic(they call this their drivability evaluation) id be looking at a total of $583.23/labor was $305.99 and parts $198.18,other $67.40 and tax $11.66.Im not planning on paying these guys that considering i can get the parts for way less and have already had local mechanic tell me he would do the cam sensor for $25.One thing i would like to know is whether there is any computer reprogram or relearn needed or is it just straight replace and go?

Straight replace and go, EGR is straight forward two bolts pull out replace bolt in. and the others could be one of several parts 441 and 440 there is a sensor and switch under the hood get a chiltons you will see it or just google the codes, but it could also be just a clogged line or bad evap canister trup clearing the lines first and reset codes, then if it comes back try a new gas cap, still no luck get a purge valve (441) and solineiod switch

What logan said is right, but on a small side note, can you use spaces between sentences and stuff, a little grammer please. Sorry just a big pet peave.
