Code p0171 on my 01 grandprix wierd sounds from engine

MY 01 GRAND PRIX 3.8L NOT SUPERCHARGED HAS WIERD SOUNDS COMING FROM THE ENGINE LIKE A AIRESCAPING SOUND (SSSSSSSS SOUND) I TOOK IT TO AUTO ZONE TO RUN A COMPUTER AND THE CODE p0171 CAME UP ( AND THE CAR STILL STARTS AND DRIVE) -- ANY HELP PLEASE ??
 


you likely have a broken vac line on the engine. spray some carb cleaner at the lines at idle, the idle will jump up when you spray the broken area.
