Cluster geat selction lights not working after trans install

Just got my new transmission installed and for some reason the gear selection lights for D123 do not work on the dash . P and N both light up

Depending on what year car you have, there may be something wrong with the PRNDL switch or the wiring. It stands to reason since they'd have to disconnect it to R&R the transmission.
