click or pop when making right turns

Im getting a loud click or pop noise when i make a right turn...not every time, but id say around 70% of the time...IM thinking upper strut mounts...but ive read a few places that it could be the starter which makes absolutey no sense to me..and im not getting any ticking noise from the starter either..99 grand prix gt..60kmiles....I eyeballed my ball joints and such it all looks good down there...any input????

I used to get a pop on just about every right turn I made. I replaced both sway bar end links and that solved my issue. Later on I noticed I'd hear a much quieter pop very rarely, and I'd have to hit a nice size bump while turning for it to happen. It still happens quietly like that in those conditions, and that's probably due to bad bushings in the lower control arm.

So I'd start at the links.

Trust me, start with the links. Since you mentioned turning and no bumps, that's where the sway bar comes in. The links often get compressed and have space in between the bushings. Then the bolt is able to slide around and grap parts of the sway bar and control arm. When you put force on it it may slip and make a pop sound.
