Does anyone have experience clear coating carbon fiber? I saw someone at the Detroit meet last year with a REALLY glossy clear coated carbon fiber hood and would like to do the same on my Inferno carbon hood. It polishes up ok with wax but it doesn't last very long and it has some spots that are fading bad enough that even rubbing compound isn't helping. I've been reading up on it, and a light sanding and cleat coat is all can do since it never had a coating from the factory, but I'd like some first hand responses.
