Cig lighter doesn't work! Please help.

I have a 2005 Grand Prix that has 2 cigarette lighters. Only one of them doesn't work, and all I found in the fusebox is one "AUX PWR" fuse that is fine. Is there another fuse that I need to find that is labeled differently? And if the fuse isn't the problem, what is?

probably ain't the fuse, its the socket it self. Replace it, there very cheap. You should be able to get them at any auto parts store. There usually pressed in and have a single plug behind them....

Hmm... well I guess my next question would be, how to I go about changing it? I came at the socket with a flathead screwdriver but it seemed pretty stuck in there, and I didn't want to break anything.

i donno on your particular year, it should be press in though. You may see if you can get behind it somehow to pop it out, thats all I can think of.

Did you figure this out yet? I have an 04 and same thing but both my lighters dont work and fuse is fine. Please help
