Chrome Intakes (ebay)





still hard to beleive a 3" pipe would be to small, anything is better than stock! if 3" is to small what do you guys suggest? 3.5-4?
 


wow that is huge, guess i never made my own before, should'nt be all that hard, any ideas what kind of stores that i should start to look around in?

Tha hardware store..go to plumbing section..

there are alot of topics about DIY intake...search around & you'll get tha idea..
 
10 bucks at home depot in the plumbing department and the proper filter just slips onto the end of the pipe. My friend just made one two weeks ago. I'll find out what filter he used in the fitment tuesday. He also modded the stock air box to keep the ecu in place.

My Wizaired came with a 4" intake tubing. You want a large tube for a lot of flow, then as it enters the slightly more narrow TB the velocity increases.
 


anyone got any pics that they can post up of their home made intakes for their 04+ gps? i am still trying to get some ideas for mine, thanks
