Chrome,Black or smoked Halo? & Hid brands? Lighting question

I'm planning on buying halo's finally this week. But can't decide whether to get the chrome or the smoked or the black once, My Pontiac is a grand prix 2003 and it's paint is white. I don't know which would match better with my car. And I also can't decide which brand of HID's to get, I have VVME fogs 4300k , I kind of want a sky blue color now maybe 5000k or 6000k for my headlights lows. And also how do i install the Halo's. I heard that not to tighten the brackets with the nuts to much or they might break. And also to use weather stripping but I'm unsure of how is the best way to install them. Also can't decide if VVME or DDM is a better buy and better quality and brand. And I also wanted to purchase some 3000k fog light bulb only. Because I heard they work better in the fog but I'm unsure of that and wanted to know your opinions. Thanks for all your time :th_thumbsup-wink:

If you absolutely won't retrofit, get the black housed ones. Smoked ones are going to kill off some of the output and chrome is ugly.
Don't get anything higher than 6000k. "blue" seems cool at first but it's annoying and you'll probably get sick of it eventually too. get 4300k or 5000k.

VVME or DDM? Neither. THey're both cheap, but both awful. If you want an actual quality kit (and don't want to wait a month for it to ship from bum**** china) get a Morimoto 3Five kit from theretrofitsource.com. They're about $150 but they come with the relay harness, waterproof, high quality, relatively small ballasts that fire up quickly, and high quality bulbs as well. Plus they're also warrantied pretty well too.

The extra money is a turn off at first, but it's worth it. Trust me, I've been there done that...
