Looks to be in good shape and the price is right, though the nearly 81,000 miles on it would make me think twice for sure.
 
16-20k per year means it was most likely highway driven. I would check all the fluids, get under it, look for leaks, give a good once over for yourself and then consider it depending.

I guess from reading about GXP trans issues I should make sure it goes through all 4 gears in tap shift mode with no whining or other noises.
I am excite. I just have to take off my STBs and SPO grills.
 
Dealership is closed until Saturday. I'll let you guys know.
This gives me time to get financing on my own so I can sell my car outright and not worry about trading it in.
 


Soooooooo... there were just under 15k GXPs produced from 05-08 right?
So how come 37% of them are currently for sale on autotrader? I got 406 ads.
That seems awfully high for a rare-ish car.
 
i love mine. it has 98k with almost zero issues. change the trans fluid and filter often, add an trans cooler and go to it.
 


I'm not having second thoughts provided I get a fair trade in this GXP is mine Saturday. I'm on my two weeks notice at work so lets say I've spent a fair amount of time on auto trader and I can't find a better deal.
 
Well I drove almost 2 hours to go see it. It was in decent shape except for the rims. 3 of the 4 had major rash, one looked like it was driven after the tire exploded.
Too big of a red flag. If I get one of these I want it to be cleaner. Oh well.
 


Well besides the rims was it in good shape? Cause I would think you could always just buy new rims for it if that was its only problem.
But I am a nub at car buying soo yeah lol.:th_jester:
 
bummer, yea its not too big of a deal, i would get it inspected by a personal mechanic ( fi you know one ) and only thing that sketches me out would be how well did they take care of it, but alot of people arnt very good a judging were the curb is
