This goes back to October but I wanted to write back and tell those who might be interested that we solved the 0107 Code. This is a 2006 Grand Prix with the normal 3.8 litre V6. The engine wiring harness was rubbing the front right corner of the vavle cover. It was not easily seen but the contact had worn a small hole through the insulation around the harness and then the wire insulation. one wire had severed itself three others had worn through the exterior insulation. Quick repair and reset of the computer and all is well. Mileage improved by about 3 MPG.
