Changing temperature display color?

I have a 98 GTP and I've seen pics of people with red temperature displays, whereas mine is green, is there a way to change it, or does it depend on the year/make?
 


I think you can do it but you would have to change the film behind the display not just the bulbs. I think it's a colored film and the bulbs are white light.
