Changing my alternator 94 grand prix

Hi im new here and the new owner of a completely rebuilt 94 grand prix with a 3.4 dohc, but the alternator is bad, Its very difficult to do i know, but i was wondering what some of you have been quoted to have a shop do it? im just looking for an average cost number... thanks!!
 


welcome i got a perfect quite for you its 15 dollars above the price of the alternator at napa. its called buy a repair manual and do it yourself. there is nothing like the feeling of fixing these machines yourself and its far cheaper. if you dontlike or feel like repairing cars ride a bike, win the lottery, or make a friend. my best advise is if you too scared to try it yourself then stay away from buying general motors in the future. they r great cars at good prices and the parts r cheaper than other brands but they do break alot
 
Well thanks for the sarcasm, and yes i do work on cars often and know what im doing, but some people just dont have the time to do it, like me. I have enough on my hands as it is and my current daily driver needs to go to a family member as soon as this car is fixed. But once again thanks, some help such as actually answering my question would be great next time.
