need to put in a new freeze plug, however it is the one behind the engine near the exhaust manifold!!! :th_depressed: i have a 2006 grand prix gt and i big ass hand can not even get to the back freeze plug! arrrrggghhhh...this fustrates me b/c the plug is only $2.50, its and easy install...problem is..getting access to it...the oil pan is right in my way.....I do not have the tools to raise the engine just to get to it!..WUT DO I DO?!?

problem is..getting access to it.

then its not so easy.

I know the plug you're speaking of and I don't have any idea how you'd do it without yanking the motor.... big hands not withstanding. as long as you have the engine out you probably ought to do the oil pan gasket ---- they go and there's no better time.
