I want to put a GT1 or a GT2 cam in my 2001 GT. What should I use for the springs and what not? And what can I start doing before I actually swap the cam? Finally, can anyone make a write up and show steps on how to swap a cam the easiest way in a home garage area? I also don't have anything to pull the engine. Thanks
 


105# springs should be fine.

As far as doing things related to the cam before installing the cam... There's nothing you can really do except start taking the top end off.

There's a lot of threads on cam installs around for 3800s most can be found via google.
