change fuel tank, now no start

i just changed a leaking fuel tank out for a new one. i transferred the old pump and other unit over to the new tank, rehung, connecting all wiring and hoses, and added about 5 gallons of gas. now i don't hear the fuel pump come on, car will crank over but not start, and the fuel gauge is pegged on full. PLEASE HELP!!
 


So the pump isn't priming? Check connections, no reason it should stop working if it was working previously in your leaking tank
