so I want to install an after market cd player in my 2000 grand prix, I have a samll sub, and want my steering wheel controls to work also, I know I need a part so that the steering wheel controls will work, I know I need a mounting kit so that the single din will fit to car, soooo what I need help with is, What CD player should I get that will work with my car because I have subs, all I want is a cd player that must have front usb plug in, also do I need any other parts, where should I go? anyone know where to get it installed at? best buy said it would cost 100$ to install, but all the parts I need said it will cost 150$ for parts alone not including cd player.... please help and tell me everything I will need so that I will have a cd player with front usb port and have working subs and steering wheel controls.! thanks!

Best buy iz tryna jerk u dog. go to Car Audio Stereo - Car Subwoofers - Car Amplifiers and Speakers, they are a wholesale website. used em many...many times, good people. They have everything u need. A nice solid single din cd player is pioneer, get the deh-2200 somethin like that. front usb crisp clear quality, and sub hook ups (aka rca outputs) can walk u through everything except the steering wheel control bit. Dont know how to do that.

But with ur cd player, sonic will throw in ur dash kit, wire harness, and antenna adapter for free. jus need a few more things, and if u wanna go through wit it i"ll give u details on those. Lemme kno man. (total cost for everything cd player include shoud be no more than 120-35)

No prob dogg... If u need , i can walk u how to install it... been installin since i was 12, im 22 now man, Not hard at all. And really "socohe" or how every u spell it, can talk u thru it too. jus call the number that on the bag ya stuff comes in, they got u.

Just google "steering wheel control interface" for whatever radio you decide to get. ( Most of em are universal ) It can be a PITA to program your first time doing it. But after a few tries its pretty easy. If you have a best buy install everything, theyre gonna charge you for 1)HU install 2)Amp kit install and 3) SWI install. There are no "package deals". Especially if the products were not purchased from them.
