Catalytic Converter Question

I need to replace my Cat. Conv. soon and was wondering what everyone is using. I was thinking of using a Cherry Bomb Cat. Would like to make the sound of the Exhaust sound better, but still want to keep it legal for the Emissions Testing. Any Ideas or Comments?

if you want it legal for emissions you would have to run a good cat to pass the test i dont have emissions here so i just left mine off and installed the 3 inch that come with the sd headers

Your going to have to buy a quality cat converter if you want to stay emissions legal.

Think around 150-300 bucks.

Cheap/discount cats will almost always throw a P0420. Buy Quality !

Quality it is. What about a Resonator? Would it fit and be worth the cost?

Is your stock res inst all rusted through and still keeping the exhaust tone mellow and quiet, I wouldnt worry about it.

I have the Check Engine Light constantly on. Have reset it 3 Times and always comes up with this Code.
