Cat Back System/Resonator - Normal??

Is it normal to have this wavyness in the resonator? I'm assuming this is where it was welded. The car is a 2001 w/ 105,000 miles. Both mufflers are shot as they started opening up on the seams. How does the overall condition look?

I can't seem to upload a pic. Will try again later.

??? Don't understand what the "wavyness" is? Could be that the person that had the car before you wouldn't slow down for speed bumps and such, so they kept on bottoming out.... especially if your lowered.

Use photobucket to upload pics..... seems to have the least problems.

i know what you mean, the seams on the sides are rusting and warping, mine is doing this too and i have been keeping an eye on it because the rust is starting to get the better of my ressy

I couldn't get photobucket to upload pictures either - maybe user error!

CTKGP09 is correct. The seams are wavy. How soon will they go? My mufflers are both shot with large horizontal holes in them at the seams. I'm just hoping the res. doesn't go too soon.

not sure, my entire exhaust is rustless, except the ressy is looking like how you described, figured id keep it till a hole appears then replace it
