Car Won't Start!!!!!!!!!!

I went to start my car this morning, 2003 GP GTP, and it cranks but won't start. I checked all the fuses and they are all good and their is no trouble codes so I am wondering where to start. Is their any way to test if the fuel pump is working? or if the fuel filter is plugged?

Does it fire at all or just turn over? Can you hear the fuel pump? What makes you think it's a fueling problem?

It just turns over and doesn't fire. It is just my first assuption that it is a fueling problem. I can't hear the fuel pump, but usually never could when starting it.

I had a prob with my 2000 recently. The air flow sensor crapped out. no start was the symptom. I saw an erratic reading on my scanner while engine off so I unplugged the sensor and she fired right up. Worth a try.

Open the gas cap and put a friends ear to it. Turn the key on but DONT crank over car. The fuel pump on all new vehicles will run/whine when doing this. If its heard you know that it is working

Have you put any gasline antifreeze in the tank lately? I had mine freeze up a few years back.

Car had not been driven for 2 weeks. I let it get low on fuel and it was minus 17*F. The gas gauge was just under 1/4. Started fine and went 1 mile to get groceries, when I came out it would crank but not start. I poured in 5 gal of fresh gas and a bottle of NAPA thermo aid, left the key in run for a few min, started right up.

Don't have to open the gas tank to hear the fuel pump prime. If you can't hear it on KEY ON, that might be your issue.

Also, you might try unplugging the MAF and starting it to see if it does...if so, then you need a new MAF. If not...I'd say try the relay bypass mod, but that is just a 97-00 issue.

I tried unplugging the MAF sensor and still no luck, thank god i don't have to replace that... again, but still cannot hear the fuel pump. What is this about the relay bypass Mod? Will it still work on newer vehicles?
