Car Won't Shift Out Of Park

Hey guys I have a bit of a problem, my 97 Grand Prix GT won't shift out of park. I saw a few threads saying to zip tie the white clip down but when I touched the white clip it just fell off. I tried pulling the little pin that the clip seems to operate but it still won't shift. Any ideas?
 


I actually got it back together and it's working fine now, the shifter had moved up since the pin wasn't in it anymore and that was stopping it from moving at all. Thanks to anybody that looked at my thread and this can be deleted if need be.
