Car won't shift after sitting overnight

I have a 97 Grand Prix GTP with 182,000 miles. After sitting overnight, the car will not shift out of first until it runs for about 2 minutes. After that, it shift fine. If the car sits during the day for many hours and then I drive it, it shift fine. I am not getting an SES light either. Any recommendations?
 




Could be a multitude of things. Most likely as mentioned there's something not going well until it's warmed up a bit. How often do you typically service the transmission?
