• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

My 2001 gp gt won't rev above 3000rpm in any gear. it's got new plugs and wires new air filter and fuel filter. the fuel pressure is within spec. I have tried changing the MAF but i think i got a defective unit cause it ran worse with the new one. I'm gonna try another one but i was wondering if anyone had any other thoughts.

It won't rev doesn't give us a lot to go on.

Please explain the problem in more detail.

Like "I'm sitting still with my foot on the brake and the torque converter lockup is keeping the motor from revving past 3,000 rpm." To this, we'd say totally normal.

Or "While driving the motor is bucking and the check engine light is flashing and it won't go above 3,000 rpm". Then we'd tell you other stuff.

Clogged Cat? Do you have a CEL on?

I am not exactly sure on all the sensors Grand Prixs have but my Intrepid had the same 3k rpm issue and it turned out that the camshaft position sensor was to blame. But like I said I am not all sure on what the Grand Prixs have as far as the sensors go.
