Car turns on, runs and stalls

Sup guys, I really need yalls help. I have a 2000 gtp that I use as my daily driver. It has 163000 miles. I drove it last Thursday to work came home no problem. Woke up Friday morning to go to work and the car started but stalled like in 3 seconds. Tried it 2 more times and same thing. The car isn't throwing a code, it had an existing one which was catalyst below efficiency or something like that. But I have had that light forever. Tried to turn it on again today getting home from work and it's still doing the same thing. I already did a little research and eliminated the security light thing, (tried both keys). I have no idea what to do or what it is because, I have fuel, I have spark, the battery isn't dying it turns over every time. It's got oil I changed it maybe 2 weeks ago. It just runs for a few seconds and stalls even if I give it gas, still stalls out. Anyway I've written to much, if anyone has had a similar situation happen to them please help me out I would really appreciate it. Thank you

try this out.

If it starts and stalls. That means the pcm is allowing it to get the prime that happens with key on and then is not allowing more fuel. This is typically either the fuel pump resistor or a security issue.

You mentioned trying both keys, did you confirm that the light on the dash is not still complaining? The ring that does whatever it does to the keys do go bad. If that's the case.. it wouldn't matter how many keys you tried.

Yes the light is NOT coming on nor is the car chiming.

Ok so I went ahead and replaced that relay with a new one and still have the same thing. Car turns on, runs for like three seconds turns off. Back to the drawing board. I can hear the fuel pump kick on every time I turn the key forward even with the old resistor. Checked my wires just incase but they are on there. Checked all my fluids and they are good. Anything else yall can think of?

Still no check engine code, no security light, even bent the number 85 on the old resistor and still didn't work

I realize you say that there's no light on. I remember that the light seems backwards, if you can.. check the owners manual to see what it'll do when it's pissed off. IIRC it doesn't blink until it's been a few seconds.

So after letting it sit for about a week cause I have been working everyday. I finally got a day off and decided to mess with it again. I was almost about to go get a trailer to haul it to a shop not knowing what else to do. So I got in it said what the hell I'll give it a try. Turned it on and car stayed on this time! Im sitting in it right now typing this and it's been running for about 15 min. It's up 2 temp and is purring like a kitty. Idk what to think anymore.

I went thru this a month or so ago. I had a failing fuel pump

1) take off the fuel filter. The back side is a quick disconnect. Angle the hose into a bucket. Prime and make sure fuel comes out.
2) replace the fuel filter. Just because you have pressure doesn't mean you have flow.
3) disconnect the fuel supply at the engine. prime and make sure fuel comes out.
4) you already bypassed the FP resistor (tab 85)

if you do have to replace the fuel pump get an OEM pump (AC Delco or Delphi) not aftermarket (like Airtex)
