Car Pulling to the Right (torque steer, transmission)

Hey i have a 2007 GP GT and it pulls hard to the right. the allignment is PERFECT. same with the tires and everything else up from my mechanic looked at..

So he says its a problem with front wheel drive with TORQUE STEERING that makes the tranny pull harder on one side then the other, especially under pressure when i stomp on the gas. Does this sound right?/ no fix?! im kind of mad because the dealer said they would fix the pulling problem when i bought it. thanks!

welcome to FWD.

if it goes straight down the highway coasting or under light gas its all good. yes it can and will pull the front end when jumping on the gas. you just need to work with it, and dont fear it.

try rotating the tires then, mine did this. i had a bad alignment done and it killed my tires. rotated and re aligned at it was all good.

also make sure the front tires are the same brand and size. mix matched brands even of the same size can cause the car to pull all the time.

Weak suspension components will allow this too... Worn struts, strut mounts, bushings, etc. Check it out. I had it until I put new struts in, then it was gone.

thanks for the input, im going to take to my own mechanic instead of the dealer who wouldnt tell me if my struts are bad, (their dime). but if i was paying for it they would have found 5 things to fix im sure

you can also swap the front tires around, left to right, right to left side, if it pulls to the left, in stead of the right, you know its the tires.
