Car is puking oil

Car started leaving nice size puddles off the front of the engine (pass side). I know I should clean it and see where its coming from but im to lazy.. strait up

I unplugged the oil pressure sensor and its full of oil. Seemed to be a problem i have another one and im going to switch it out but could this be the culprit?

Also should note that it reads o/p correctly

thanks in advance

The factory sensor is more like a switch, it comes on with 5 psi of oil pressure.

I'd swap it out, clean everything and start the car. Then see where it's coming from. The other place is the front cover seal on the balancer.

dont drive it till you swap it. it can really let go and you run out of oil. and well. bye bye.

or just plug it with a brass npt plug. then it cant fail again. not like the sensor does a damn thing but leak.

Scotts method fixes the issue and if you ever got down to 5psi.. your motor is toasty anyhow. So you lose nothing but a leak.

I swapped the switch/sensor and the leak is fixed. I would like to smack the p/o in the face the p/o for the way he did thing or had them done. there is a T fitting where the sensor is and another part attached to it that sends the signal to the gauge in the pillar pod. Here in the near future im going to pull that gauge and the extra crap off down there and plug it like scott unless it will cause a CEL.

Ok thanks. When I decommission the car here in a few weeks ill either pull the whole mess completely or take the thingamobobber for the o/p gauge and screw it in to where the sensor should be untill i get a boost gauge to put in the o/p gauge spot
