car got stuck in puddle and now it starts and shuts off. I NEED HELP!

SO my car got stuck in about 2ft of water the other night. I checked the oil tranny fluid air filter. pulled plugs. I can get the car to start and run for a few seconds then it shuts off. Any idea what i can do or what it could be???? please e-mail me mjdaily88@yahoo
 


By "stuck", do you mean to say you drove into two feet of water? If you did, did you shut the car off, or did it die. Did it get up the the air filter? Any signs water was sucked into the engine or got to the main computer?
 
Pull the connector to the crank sensor and see if there's water in there. I once upon a time went to show a friend how you can wash down your engine and ... well the crank sensor connector had a chip out of it from the roll over the engine had been in.
