car alarm and battery/car not starting

a few weeks ago after getting home i locked the car by remote, accidentally i had pressed the lock/unlock a few times and at sometime the horn beep-beep went silent, the locks continued to lock and unlock via remote and i have a secure garage and work, so i thought nothing of it and ment to ask this very question a few weeks ago. now my car won't start and i can't help but wonder if it has something to do with the alarm, the battery is 3 months old, showing no problems until today.

drove it to starbucks this morning turned it off at drive thru window, wouldn't turn back on, lifted hood, adjusted battery connectors, turned off defrost setting, started up. the battery connectors where fine.

now car is at home, key locked into steering wheel, and not a sliver of power, no dim lights, nothing.

i have checked fuses, ecm, cig lighter, and few others. could not find a car alarm fuse, i'm sure for obvious reasons(like anyone wants to steal my 3.1 02 grand prix) it may be hidden, not sure where.

any advice?

after getting a jump start and driving around to try and charge, i got home and now it wont start again, well i didnt' try to start it exactly yet, i just assumed because the inside lights are off and no power to the locks. guess i'll try exchanging the battery under the warranty from schucks/orielly.

i am still looking for insight from anyone dealing or having dealt with similar issues.

so, i moved the battery around at the connectors heard some clicking and after a few times doing that, car turned on, i keep searching fuses and tried turning alarm on, fuses good so far, and still no alarm, can lock car remotely, horn works manualy, no alarm though

check the other ends of your battery cables, the problem may not be @ the battery, but on the other end of your cables, and thats why it works when you wiggle the conections on the batt. Take the cables off and give them a good cleaning, and check the cables for wear, or cracks.

thank you, i removed the connectors, cleaned, and put back on, its working like new.

i am still searching for an answer to my security alarm, its not arming or disarming, dealer does not know why when calling. when i press the sound button on remote it goes off, there is just no arming sound when locking via remote.
