Cant pass echeck!!

Ok, so my dumb self let the idiots at the echeck facility do a tailpipe test on my car, because the 'computer didnt pass the rediness test' and I didnt feel like coming back again, if the stupid thing was ever ready.
So they do the probe test, and I fail miserably, nox was triple the limit, etc.
I put my SLP hi-flow cat on, which is suppose to be 49 STATE LEGAL EMMISSIONS and it fails again.
The results were better, but my nox was still TWICE the limit.
What should I do now? I can get waiver if I spend another $170 in emmissions related parts, but I dont know what else is "emissions related".
I feel like calling SLP and giving them a piece of my mind!
 


An O2 sensor will probably fix it, oxides of nitrogen are created when your engine is running to hot. Aka to lean.
 
Yeah, the reason I didnt is because I figured it would have had to be my fault.

Now, I put the rear O2 sensor simulator in, would that effect things if I had the cat on as well? Maybe I will try putting the real sensor back in.

So a good front O2 sensor.. I will put that on my list..
 
NOX is from running 'lean' or hot from what i've seen. Do you have a functioning egr?

PS- I used to work at Ohio Echeck when we had it down in Dayton :-D
 


Oh yeah, leave your car sitting in the parking lot for 40 minutes, then start it right up and go in. You'll bomb HC, but as long as you pass all three gasses in 3 tests, you should be good.
