Can you wire sub/amp wire to fuse box or alt?

i would wire it directly to Battery and put an inline fuse on the wire . or at the terminal right near battery

Ya I was just having an issue fitting the main cable plus the hid relay harness, intercooler pump harness, and 8 gauge amp wire on the tiny ass side plug. Anyway I went to autozone and they has this really nice gold plated battery bolt that had a 2nd post on it so I now have the hid harness and main harness on the main post and then put the sub and intercooler pump on the secondary post. Its working great now

I used the post on the fuse box myself. Side terminal batteries suck.

i got my amp power wire on the fuse box cable bolt, and the power on wire in the in car fuse box to a key on fuse, aka the wipers with a add a fuse.
