Found this connector after pulling the cover off. Cant find anything to plug it into. Help?

we all have a spare plug here ans there. if the rubber part is dirty, it goes to nothing.

its fine dont touch it, dont remove it just let it be and you will be fine

I found what it goes to, plugged it in, and gained 60hp to the wheels :th_biggrin2:

Oh, I thought it could be like a spare connector, kind of like the spare fuses in the fuse box. Never mind then lol.

I wonder if you could set a code with that connector, or if the pins in the pcm just go to nothing. Basically if you plugged an air pump in, would it even operate.

its codes are likely deleted in the pcm from the factory.

I would trace it back to the pcm and de-pin it too. Actually I wouldn't. But why not go all the way?

Because I'm literally looking to walk out to the car with a pair of scissors and some electrical tape and cut the damn thing off. Following it all the way to the PCM seems like a huge waste of time.

I'm sure if you do a wire tuck you could get rid of all of it. Or you do some serious weight reduction.

I'm probably gonna cut it back til its not visible to clean it up a little more under the hood. Looks kinda stupid as mine's in plain sight.
