• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Can one year really make this big of a difference?

As some of you have read, i bought a blown up 97 gtp, with the motor half pulled because the kid gave up that was doing it. Now im i got a motor out of a 98 gtp. Now the vacumm lines are just a disaster, i looked at the 97 blower and then looked at the 98 blower that is on the ground, and the 97 looks like it has alot more vacumm lines on it then the 98. wtf? So should i change blowers? or just make the 98 one work? Any help would be appriciated...thanks guys

'97 and '98 blower vacuum trees are different...you can cap off the '97's or just run the '98's tree...its your call...as long as the correct lines are hooked up...and the ones not being used are capped off, it'll be fine.

Thanks blue, also does anyone know what all has to be hooked up on all the vaccum tree, like what goes where because I bought this car all tore apart, and my regal is a state away with the woman so I'm very lost here...that's for all the help guys this site is awesome:th_thumbsup-wink:

Having had a 97 myself.. just use the diagram that's linked and cap the tree. It's all about the same and will work fine either way. :th_thumbsup-wink:
