the car is cammed... the older 5.0 there was alot of stough like heads off a corbra and etc...
If its cammed tell them you want a Car length

ive seen stock 5.0s run 14.2 at 98. thats with the free mods of course. remove intake silencer, bump up timing. my brother had an sn95 (the bigger body styles, his was a 94) with an auto 302. with intake and exhaust it was around 14.7 around 95 then he put in 4.10 gears and was seeing 14.1 at 98 with the tranny not wanting to shift into 3rd. maybe had 13's in it.

it could go either way. get somebody that does not know how to drive the mustang, yea not that fast, but then again somebody that does know how to drive it and you could be suprised.
the motors and cars and very capable. just needs the right combo.
at the same time your top swaped (so higher compression) with some tuning so you should run pretty good. get your issuies fixed first.
fox bodies are light. some weight about 3200 with driver in it. in a coupe with weight reductions you can get under 3000.
the biggest factor for 5.0s are the heads. they dont flow for ****. even if they have a cam with stock heads, it wont do much. but with a head, cam cambo. yea they can be quick.
