I am asking everyone who reads this to e-mail mailto:[email protected] on my behalf ( my name is Christopher Bayus) and ask them to refund my $419. I have been battling with 3800 since August to refund my money after returning a set of lateral arms I purchased through 3800. I have filed a dispute with VISA, only to have it reversed because of a lie from the owner and my bank not contacting me, informing me of his appeal. Due to VISA guidlines, I cannot re-submit my dispute. So, my bank is trying to collect the money for me. But, the reality is there isn't much hope of this working. I would really REALLY appreciate it if you all could put some "social pressure" on him to do the right thing. Thanks for your time and effort.

Chris

It's a long story, but here goes... I mistakingly ordered 2 sets of arms. I realized my mistake the next day and e-mailed 3800 asking them to cancel the order for 1 of the sets. I recieved a phone call from a man (Rick if I recall) the following day regarding the headers I also had ordered. During the conversation, I asked him if he recieved my e-mail concerning the cancellation of the 1 set of arms. He assured me it was no problem. Ten days later, I recieved 2 sets of lateral arms. Then I started going back and forth between BMR ( who shipped them directly from thier shop) and 3800 Performance, asking where I should return the arms to. Each one said to return the arms to the other. So, wanting to get this finished, I returned them to BMR. They acknowledged when the arms arrived, and informed me of when they refunded 3800 Performance. Since then, I have tried to recover my money from 3800 with no success. The last conact I had with him, I told him that I was going to VISA if I didn't recieve word from him. He called me (always a phone call, so there is no record) and explained that he had his secretary send a check out two days prior. But when asked, he could not tell me how much the check was for. It never did arrive. The VISA dispute is a whole other story....

i was going to be ordering from there soon for a few accessories i want...but this is not the first horror story i've heard about.

Dear 3800,

I am a member of an avid Gran Prix forum. From what Iand many others have seen, there seems to be a problem with one of ChristopherBayus past orders. Apparently some-one from 3800,neglected tocancel one of Christophers orders, causing him to get 2 sets of lateralarms. Chris returned one of the sets to your supplier,BMR, after beingtold by 3800 that was the appropriate course of action. BMR acknowledged theyreceived the lateral arms and refunded 3800. Christophers VISA account hasstill not been credited in the amount of 419.00 dollars, the amount of thereturned lateral arms.

Your diligence in resolving this matter, would be greatlyappreciated by the 3800 community.

Tim

hope that works for you Brotha

Tim,

PROBABLY would have been more professional and helped our cause if you could have done that on a laptop, instead of your phone.

Because, the punctuation is awful...and well it doesn't help the Gran Prix forum look too whoopie.

Just my two cents.

I'll contact Rick. I've talked to him before. See what's up.

I apologize,Yeh I kinda suck at Word

just gave it a shot ...didn't mean to go all fail.

$419 is a lot and would have appreciated the same effort if I was in the same situation.

Oh well, thanks for the heads-up Blue

emailed them too bud.... hope it helps.. i pretty much fixed and reworded what tim said and added that i would not do any business with them if the horror stories keep coming up about them.

Andrew,

3800Performance has new owners since Dec 1. We are trying to get in contact with Mr. Bayus to see if I can help resolve his issue with the prior owners.

Do you have a contact email address for him?

Best Regards, 3800 Performance www.3800performance.com

Sent from my pager using Morse code. ... .. ... ....
