C5 calipers how much would you pay for?

i was looking at '98 C5 front calipers that someone parting out locally. he was asking for $250 just for the front only. i think he's asking way too much. how much these go for? i was thinking of asking him if he will take $100 plus impact wrench and cordless impact gun. what you all think? forget the whole deal or try to barter with him? btw will the rotor from the C 5 works?

i think i paid around $200.00 for my vette calipers complete with all hardware for a conversion on my typhoon. bought them from a place that specialized in vette parts , i'll see if i can find the name and number for you. i think i still have the reciept in my desk at work.

I would not pay more for C5 calipers then I would for F-Body calipers. I got the calipers and brackets from the junkyard for $28.

man this guy trying to rip me off. $250 is his final price. he said he'll hold it for me if i give him $100 now and come back with another $150 later. i was like yeah right!:th_shakinghead2:

Do a search on here and see what you can find Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and see what you can find. I just did a quick search for '98 Vette calipers and I found them for $60 a side for 2000 Vette calipers...thanks now I think I might be throwing down $120 for them when I get back from Ohio tommorow!

i don't trust the remanufacture calipers. my last one didn't work and i don't think i'm going to take another chance. i would rather get one used or from the junk yard this way i know the all bolt holes have not been pretap. monteman if you find a used C5 calipers near you let me know. it's really hard to find c5 calipers here. hell if you find the camaro/firebird one i'll settle for that too.
