c0035

Mirraco

One BadAzz GT Dawgg
Ive replaced all 4 wheel bearings, driver cv axle, tie rod ends, brake pads and rotors on this 07 gp base. 134k miles, hit a "embankment" about a year ago, and 500 miles ago.

Still getting c0035 right front speed circuit, im pretty sure car hit on the front left side, the axle must of took a nice jolt, broke the boot off and was throwing grease everywhere down there on driver side.

Do i need to replace the abs cord from engine to where it plugs into the hub? My tpms is going off too, all say 0. I need to calibrate it, but i need a working keyfob to do that, and my keyfob i have for the car is not programmed.

Probably time to get under there and visually check the wiring. Might just be cut/loose. Also check the plug itself. Could just be dirty.

Grab a can of electric cleaner and clean the plug.. Then clear the code if your able too and see if it comes back. You can also unhook the battery too for a few minutes.

There is a tsb for the front speed sensor wiring. The replacement wire is longer and fastens to control arm differently to prevent it from being stressed. I'm dealing with similar issue.

i had the c0035 code and a new left front abs harness fixed it . cost about $25 on amazon.

Is it hard to put a new harness in? Does anyone have a picture to where it actually goes to? Do i have to wire it all up and all that fun stuff? I am going to look at it next week, my 01 gp is playing garage queen and is waiting for the right color paint for the roof rails.

The one that i got had two open wires at one end, and the plug that plugs into the wheel hub. I tried to follow the cord but didnt see a plug on the other end at all.

I noticed the cord was damaged in one point, so i cut it a little bit past that and tried to splice the new one onto it, and no dice. Still got the speed sensor c0035 code come up.

I noticed when doing driver cv axle, the driver strut boot that goes over shock was all shrivvled up and dried out. I can bring it to my shop and have them align the car and see exactly whats wrong with the cord for wheel bearing, but i dont want to have to align the car twice. Lower control arms look a little bad, and rear strut mounts are making noise. Its 70$ for two front lower control arms with ball joints from my supplier. I havnt looked into 4 quick mount struts, but im thinking about 250-300$.

Heres a pic to where it goes from the wheel hub, im a little confused, there is a plug down there but it doesnt look like its coming from the abs cord.

I have my finger on the one that is coming from the wheel hub.

the old harness should have had a clip at both ends . i just cut the clip off and spliced them together. if yours didn't have a clip at the end toward the radiator then it was probably already replaced once. use a multimeter and check the resistance and compare it with the other side.

Ok ill take a look at it in the morning.

I actually did notice that you can see a couple inches down theres a wire that goes up, could that be the other end of the plug for abs?

pretty sure only the pass side has a plug, its near the balancer on the side of the inner fender. the driver side you need to cut the wire and splice in the new harness.
