bypassing Bose amp

Is there any way to bypass the bose amp in a 2001 grand prix? Or do i have to run new speaker cables to all 6 of the speakers? Im installing a new head unit and want to run the speakers off the head unit
 


Well i dont think the sound quality is the best from the bose system and im not sure if it will improve if a headunit is installed and i keep the bose amp. im leaning towards powering my speakers off the head unit or a different amp.
 
adding the deck will help but your weak link is the stock speakers, replacing the fronts with some nice aftermarkets will make a world of difference. I'm running some infinities on the same system and they scream over the subs in the trunk.

im thinking about running it off the stock amp until i decide to by a new amp and who knows maybe it will sound better so i wont need to. i got all the speakers replaced except the front with infinities so my next step will be new head unit and putting in some new fronts im thinking about modifying for 6 1/2's instead of 5 1/4's. =)
 
you prolly should have done the fronts first becasue that's what you hear most, i run the kappa's and they sound really good
