so yesterday i was driving to my buddys house and hit a very large rock on the way and it tore a whole in my oil pan under the car and the car started pouring out oil .... how hard is that to replace? / how much is it to get done at a shop? anyone have any ideas? i want to do it myself to save some cash but not if im gonna mess it up while fixing it if its really hard

I have the same problem, bad oil pan but ine was rusted through. i bought the parts for about a 100 bucks and my buddy is putting it in for 300 bucks, he said its about a 5 to 7 hour job. alot of **** to do, losen the motor mounts tilt the engine and etc. good luck

you either have to pull the engine, or drop the subframe. some people say pulling the engine is easier. for a shop to do it you're looking at AT LEAST $500

I'd drop the subframe...I hate pulling motors even though it is easy as sh1t to do it when the motor is out.
