i have been getting thise error more and more lately...its not my connection...this is the only site that it happens with :th_scratchhead:

i hope i understood this right...did u want a screenshot of tracert when the site loads properly or when it is saying website unfound? anyways heres a shot of tracert when site loaded correctly.If you also need a tracert done when site doesnt load let me know and ill get you one of those as well.
 
The next time you cannot get to the site or get the error message you originally posted, run that tracert then save a picture of it, and when you can get back on the site again, post it up.
 


Ok,ill do it.Its weird,it will do it sometimes 6-7 times a day.Then go away for a week or 2.Then same thing all over again.This is the only site that i ever have problems getting on.Not gonna keep me away though lol...thats what the refresh button is for ;)
 
I think scotty had the problem awhile back. and reflictive concepts apears to have it too. So if i can find out where the problem is. I have controller for the last 3 loops, once its in the data center i can fix it.
 
I tried to tracert when i got error but it gave me exact same info as the previous tracer post..most of the time i hit refresh once and it brings me to site,other times i have to refresh several times.

Scotty, were you also using firefox? I use IE and have never had that problem. It would be nice to know if there are any other common denominators than just the forum.

I do that on a regular basis,its not a big deal to me.Just figured id let it be known since it is something that happens.One refresh click usually brings me to the site.On the common denominators part,it never happens with any other site i go to.This little error isnt going to keep me away from GPF. ;)
 
Same here. There was a thread months ago on this too. This is the only site it happens to me on as well including 30-40 other auto and IT forums. Happens on IE, Firefox, and Safari (desktop, laptop, cell). Sometimes can refresh, sometimes not at all. Sometimes I can get in from a different link. Sometimes clearing cache/cookies helps, but not always. Like others said it can be multiple times per day or not happen all week.
 
put rocket4681 on your aim and pm me a message with your ip when this happens so i can go thur the logs with the time it happens and your ip and maybe figure it out.
 


This happens to me on a regular basis,if I try going here from another site but it does not happen when I go from my home page to here?
