Branson Meet 2008... oklahoma caravan?

With regestration opening in a few days, and my wife actually indicating that it "might" be fun im thinking seriously about going to Branson. With this in mind, I thought it might be fun to see who else from OK was going, and see if it might be feasable to have a mini caravan going up. Im from just south of OKC...
 


Im hoping I have the GP back together and alive by that time, if so I will be going and I think it would be awesome to have a caravan going like that.
 
Hey Scotty.....I know there is not an option on the registration form for a Rodeo, but you can still come even if the car is not put together.

Its all about the owners just as much as it is about the cars.

Yeah, well Id like to but if I came out there and embarrassed some GP's in the Rodeo I would probably get banned, LOL.

I may have it all back together then, not sure. I would love to have it on the road again as I need a good road trip. I have not been on a decent one for a couple years now.
 
If everything works out my way i'll be going to Branson a couple days before the meet anyway so i'll probably be out.
 


I'll be leaving tulsa on the thursday to head up there. If anyone wants to meet here then head that way with me i would like to leave here by 6 that night.
 


Hey Chris, are u meeting up with tha Oklahoma caravan or are you Oklahoma guys gonna stop somewheres in AR along the way to BGPM? I have every intention of going this year but was hoping to get in on a group of guys from around here that are all traveling up there together...? trying to avoid my own "directional impairment"....the way i take directions, :th_shakinghead1:
 
Well I have to go up early to get things set up, so I will be leaving Thursday morning about 9am.

If you wanted to caravan with the OK guys and gals, I am sure you could meet them on I-40 about 7pm where I-540 and I-40 meet, or if you want to go up early, I will be taking all 3 of my GP's that morning.

lol, hey, i believe someone else stated in a thread that it was Oklahoma that had the worst rate of uninsured drivers. people drinking all that near-beer :th_biggrin2:
