Brake Specs

Hey Guys,

I'm having my friend change all of my brakes as soon as they arrive off of FedEx. I have a 04 GTP CompG. I know some of you have tried the Brake Motive brakes (ebay brakes). I too am taking a risk and trying them out. I'm not hard on my car and it was a pretty good deal. =)

What I need to know is what are the torque specs for the caliper bolts. For when he puts the stuff back together. I don't want my brakes falling off and he wasn't aware that the bolts needed to be torqued down. As far as I've read there are specific torque values for these bolts.

Just wrench them down tight, I've done hundreds of them and never once used a torque wrench.

For 2001+ cars:
Front:
5.3L: 44 ft lbs
All others: 70 ft lbs
Rear: 32 ft lbs.
