Brake Lines

Hi all,

I currently have a leak in my left, rear brake line on my 98 GTP. I was wondering if I could get some insight on what I would take to get it repaired, the cost for the the repair, and the time to repair it.

Thanks!

Really depends on how bad it is. The cost of the line and fluid are relatively cheap. Then it's merely the labor time.

The rubber hose would be at most an hour of labor. The metal line, that depends on how particular the mechanic is about bending and putting it into the proper clips etc. I could see a 2-3 hour chunk of labor.

Hi

I hate to reply to an old thread, but for those grappling with rusty brake lines in the future..use Cunifer brand line. Its very malleable and wont corrode. This will cut down on labor and be a permanent repair.
