Braided Brake Lines - What are our options?

I am starting to get the stuff to upgrade the brakes on the Regal. I want to do braided brake lines, but not sure what to get. I am going with F-Body brakes, so I need ones in the front to be 4.5" longer. I would go with ZZP, but they are hellish expensive, IMO. I have found several stockers on ebay for about half the price as ZZP. Has anyone used them?

They all say they meet the DOT requirements, but not necessarily DOT approved. Is there a way to order them through ebay that someone has done and request them to be 4.5" longer?

I found an old thread that this was done, but that seller is not longer selling on ebay:

i used to have f body brakes, then i wound up under the back of a ford ranger. i just switched over to brand new napa rotors and pads for a monte because i have the 12 inch upgrade. i bought a set of russell ss brake likes for the w body PN 692220 what a major difference, the brakes grab as soon as the pedal is touched and i didn't have to switch pedals or and screen door springs like all the other f body kids. ive had this car for 6 years and this is by far the best brake set up. hope this helps

Thanks.

Because of the issues with ZZP and the cheap lines, I think I am going to shy away from them. Probably suck it up and go with Goodridge or Russel. Thanks for the PN!

summit, jegs and pace were on back order for the lines if you search the part number on ebay there is a seller who sells them. thats where i got mine, fast shipping too

does anyone have the part # of the goodridge lines that zzp sells for the f-body upgrade?

ZZP does not sell goodridge lines for the Fbody install. They are made by an outside vendor.

Just to mention, it may have been a different vendor, but a couple years ago ZZP had a BUNCH of their lines blow out on guys while they were driving. Thus why I am staying away from ZZP lines.
